MNE splits with #18 Lackawanna CC

Austin Alonge was the hero in game one for MNE as he hit a homerun to lead off the bottom of the 6th to give the Saints a 3-2 advantage. Tyler Slepski picked up his first win after throwing a complete game. Slepski gave up two runs to Lackawanna in the 1st out in the final 6 innings. Slepski gave up 2 runs on 8 hits and struck out 6. AJ Thompson had two doubles, Alonge had two hits and two RBI, and Sabatino Dinardo had a double and an RBI.

In game two the Saints were outhit 11-8 and lost 9-3. Tyler Slepski was 3-3 for North East and Cam Balego and Stephen Grober had two hits apiece. AJ Thompson got the loss after allowing 6 runs on 8 hits and struck out 4. Alex Glatch threw two innings in relief and gave up 3 and struck out two. MNE is now 7-4 on the year.
