Saints Finish Spring Trip with a Win

After dropping game on vs Harford CC 14-3 the Saints came back and won game two 11-5, which snapped HCC's 9 game winning streak. Drew Delsignore had a huge day for MNE hitting 3 homeruns on the day including two in the game one loss. Delsignore had two hits and 3 rbi. Brian Casiano blasted his first homerun of the season and also had two hits for the Saints. Freshman Jesse Staudt had 3 hits and Heath Hildreth and Jake Bulick each had two hits as well.

Freshman Joe Grober got the start and battled for two strong innings to give MNE a good start. Nick Woloschak came in to get the win throwing 2 1/3 innings allowing 4 runs on 5 hits. Jim Solano and Marcus Gunter threw the final three scoreless innings to close the door and give MNE the 11-5 win.

In game one Nolan Freeman took the loss with a rough start that led to the 14-3 loss. Drew Delsignore was the lone bright spot has he had a 3 rbi's for North East and hit two homeruns.

The Saints finished their spring trip 4-7 and will take on Potomac State College Saturday at 1:00 pm.
