Saints Spilt on Opening Day

To start the Saints 2016 season, the Saints traveled to Harford CC (Maryland) to play in a three game series over Saturday and Sunday.

In the first game, the Saints fell 7-4. Drew Delsignore and Jesse Staudt both went deep for the Saints. Trent Collins threw a solid game allowing just 4 earned in 5 2/3 innings.

In game two the Saints hammered 11 hits and had 8 runs to split the double header, 8-6. Zach Miller was 4-4 and Delsignore and Scott Pierce each had two hits including a double. Nick Woloschak started for the Saints. He allowed 3 earned through 3 innings. Jordan Ransom picked up the win for the Saints and Scott Pierce picked up his first save of his career.

The Saintsd will be back in action for game three of the series at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
