MNE Completes Late Game Comeback

With two outs and one on in the top of the 7th with the Saints trailing by 2, Drew Delsignore launched a 1-0 change up over he right field fence to tie the game at 5.

Joe Grober pitched out of a jam in the bottom of the 7th with a big strike out to keep the game at 5 all.

In the 8th Mike Montalbano had a lead off with a single. Brandon Johnston came in to run and with 2 outs Joel Cruz hit a deep fly off the right field wall to score Johnston and give the Saints the lead.

Dalton Donachie slammed the door in the 8th for his first career save and Joe Grober picked up the win. Jordan Ransom got the start and battled to keep the game close. Nick Woloschak pitched 3 great innings for the Saints in relief.

Zach Miller and Luke Baranchak hit their first career home runs for the Saints as well. Jesse Staudt, Miller and Montalbano each had two hits for he Saints. MNE improves to 3-2 on the season.
