Keyshawn D'Orso got things starter for the Saints with a solo homerun before Scott Pierce followed three batters later with a two run home run of his own to cut the lead to 7-3.

In the 5th Saints reliever Ismael Mendez came in a got a quick inning to keep the momentum on the MNE side. The Saints put up three more runs including Mike Montalbanos second homerun in as many games to cut it 8-6 headed into the 6th.

In the bottom half of the 6th North East scored a run but left runner stranded on second and third with one out and the comeback fell short.
