Saints down #17 Cuyahoga County Community College 10-0, 9-8

In dramatic fashion the Saints completed the come from behind victory to win game two and complete the sweep of #17 Cuyahoga County Community College. After cruising in game one 10-0 the Saints trailed 8-3 in the bottom of the 6th. Zach Miller started it after he reached on an error by the third baseman. Tom Cannon walked and Kenny Robinson knocked in the two runner with a triple. The triple was his third hit of the day.

Luke Baranchak followed that up with an rbi single to make the game 8-7. Luke stole second and came around to score on Jesse Staudt's 6th hit of the day to tie the game.

Trent Collins threw a shut out 7th inning to keep the score at 8-8. Pedro Peguero hit a one out single to get the inning started. Tommy Cannon was the hero with a double to the left center gap that the left fielder was un able to field clean and it scored Peguero for the victory.

Staudt and Robinson had 3 hits apiece. Delsignore, Peguero and Miller all had two hits as the Saints pounded out 14 hits in the game. Nick Woloschak got the start and threw 4 3/3 solid innings allowing just two earned runs. Trent Collins earned the win with 2 1/3 scoreless innings in relief.

In game one Nolan Freeman completely shut down the Tri C offense as he threw a complete game 5 hit shutout as he struck out 7.  Jesse Staudt led the offense with 3 hits and Mike Montalbano, Luke Baranchak, and Zack Miller had two hits as well.
