Despite getting 17 hits that Saints were unable to muster up enough runs to beat Monroe Community College. MNE lost game two if the series 18-7.
Drew Delsignore blasted two homeruns for the Saints and Jesse Staudt had a monster week at the plate getting his 6th hit of the series and 13 hit of the week. Pedro Peguero launched a 1-0 pitch to left center field to get the scoring starter for the Saints. Tom Cannon added 4 hits of his own including two doubles and Luke Baranchak had three hits as well.
Saints starter Nick Woloschak had trouble loacting early and gave up 3 in the second inning and that was all that MCC would need as they never trailed. Dalton Donachie and Jordan Ransom also threw in relief for Mercyhurst.
MNE is now 24-15 on the season and will be back in action Tuesday against Lakeland Community College.
