Saints Lose Regular Season Finale with MCC

In the regular season finale the Saints dropped game three of the weekend series by the score of 18-5. MNE came out flat and allowed MCC to grab a 3-1 lead after 3 and the Tribunes never looked back.

Blaze Chamberlain lead off the 3rd with a double. Kenny Robinson reached on a bunt single and Chamberlain advanced to third. Jesse Staudt followed up with a ground out that scored Chamberlain and gave the Saints a 1-0 lead.

The Saints added another run in the 4th when Kenny Robinson walked with the bases loaded.

Drew Delsignore hit his 12th homerun of the year to add another run in the 4th.

The Saints added their final two runs in the top of the 8th after Miller and Peguero singled and came around to score on wild pitches.

MNE finished the regular season with the most wins in school history with 30 victories. MNE will take on Monroe Community College Friday the 13th at MCC with first pitch starting at 2:00 pm.
