In a windy weekend of baseball, The Mercyhurst North East baseball team had its ups and downs-literally.

After catching the opening game of the series - freshman Tyler Cannon toed the rubber for game 2, earning the win through 5 innings of work allowing just 3 hits, no runs, and 6 punch outs. Thanks to a Joe Turano 2-RBI single in the 5th, Freshman reliever Logan Snyder took to the mound with a 3-0 score.
Snyder held Tri-C scoreless through 4 innings. He walked two batters despite striking out 10 in the effort to earn the save.
The Saints are back in action tomorrow against Regional foe Monroe CC at 1pm at Hirtzel Field. Two nine inning games are on tap.
