Saints Earn All-Region Honors

After falling to Monroe Community College in the Region Championship game, the Saints concluded their season as the Region III runners up, posting a 23-20 overall record.

After the release of the All-OCCAC teams, four Saints went on to make the All Region team. Padraig O'ShaughnessyRobby Korff, Brandon Scheidemantle, and Alex Cardona were all recipients.

In 41 games played Padraig O'Shaughnessy hit .361 with an on base percentage of .497. O'Shaughnessy also cranked out seven doubles, two triples, and seven homeruns on the year. The first baseman/outfielder was also named to the ALL-OCCAC FIRST TEAM and the ALL-FRESHMAN TEAM. 

Robby Korff also put together a solid season, posting a .328 batting average. Korff finished the season by smacking nine doubles and six homeruns. Korff was also named to the ALL-OCCAC FIRST TEAM.

Brandon Scheidemantle was a huge part of the 2019 squad as well. Scheidemantle hit a team leading 17 doubles, while batting .319 on the year. He also connected for three homeruns out of the leadoff spot. Scheidemantle also collected ALL-OCCAC SECOND TEAM honors.

Alex Cardona was solid on the hill all season as well, posting a 4-2 record in 44.0 innings pitched. Cardona also struck out 60 batters on the year.
