Basketball Falls in Double Overtime

On Saturday, November 15th, the men's basketball team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio to take on the unbeaten Tri-C. Cuyahoga came into the game at 5-0, but MNE proved to be a formidable opponent as they took Tri-C into double overtime, but just couldn't pull out the win, dropping the game 113-96.

High scorers for the Saints were Jalen Jackson with 20 and Justin Dobbs with 19 points. Jalen Jackson also contributed 13 assists while Brandon Wilkins led the team in rebounds with 10. Foul troubles seemed to be the dagger for the Saints, as 4 starters fouled out throughout the regulation and two overtimes.

The lose was the first lose of the season for the Saints, who are now 2-1. The Saints are back in action on Thursday when they host Notre Dame College JV @ 7:00.
