(1/22/15) On Thursday evening, the Saints hosted conference foe Jamestown Community College. In the first half, the Saints couldn't slow down the shooting barrage from JCC as the Jayhawks found themselves up by 15 points at halftime, 42-27.
As the second half got underway the Saints would slowly begin to chip away at the 15 point deficit which culminated at the 11:00 minute mark when the Saints found themselves with their first lead of the game and a 1 point advantage. After a few questionable calls, the game shifted back to JCC advantage and the Jayhawks never looked back as they took the lead to the end with a 83-75 win over the Saints.
The bench proved to be big for the Saints as they outscored JCC's bench 24-5, led by Johnell Free with 12 points off the sidelines. Other individual highlights include Brandon Wilkins with a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds, and Justin Dobbs second half explosion with 29 points in the second half and 32 overall for a game high.
The Saints are back in action on Saturday as they travel to Howard Community College.
