Lacosse Adds Salter as Defensive and Recruiting Coordinator

The Saints Lacrosse program has hired David Salter as a Defensive and Recruiting Coordinator. The Fredrick, MD native won a state championship as junior at Linganore High School in the state of Maryland. After HS, David moved onto college and exceled at the Junior College level playing for Howard Community College for one season. David then moved onto NCAA Division II Belmont Abbey College. He was a two time captain and a three year player for the Crusaders.

David graduated this summer with a degree in business management from Belmont Abbey and most recently competed in the Euro Games this summer for Team Latvia. He has played on the Latvian National Team for the past four years and also competed in the World Games in 2014 which were held in Denver, CO.

David will be working towards completing the Organizational Leadership program at the Mercyhurst Erie Campus. The Saints are extremely excited to welcome David to the staff. "David is a very enthusiastic coach and he really has a passion to play and teach the game," says head coach Eric Micchio.
