The men's soccer team got back to their winning ways when they defeated visiting Niagara County Community College 4-1, on Wednesday September 3rd.
The Saints got on the board early when Michael Lennox found the back of the net on a corner kick giving the Saints an Early 1-0 lead. The scoring continued when Matt Schenberg played a through ball to the on running Chase Hoffman for the easy finishing making it 2-0. Before the end of the half, Eric Kennedy would add his name to the goal scorers for the day when he finished on a pass from Lennox, making the halftime score 3-0.
In second half action, NCCC managed to beat MNE keeper Ryan Walsh to avoid the shut out, but MNE would quickly get the goal back when Marcus Connors received a corner from Chase Hoffman for the finish. The score ended at 4-1 for the Saints.
With the win, the Saints move to 2-2-0, and are back in action on Saturday at 2:00 when they travel to Lorain County Community College in Ohio.
