Men's Soccer Signs Maryland Native Andrew Heft

Andrew Heft signed his scholarship and National Letter of Intent flanked buy his parents Alan and Carol, sister Callie, Coach Blythe, Tim Martindale (Mountain Ridge HS Soccer Coach) and Gary Davis (Mountain Ridge HS Athletic Director).

For Mountain Ridge Andrew received a number of honors, graduating as team captain his senior year. He received the most improved player award as a senior, 'rookie of the year' his junior year, both awards voted by his peers. Andrew graduates as third leading scorer in the AMAC (Appalachian Mountain athletic conference) and was a 4 year club player for the Allegheny Soccer Alliance.

Coach Blythe states, "Andy has remarkable speed combined with ability to play a number of roles in the Saints offense. He was excellent when he came up to play on his recruiting trip, I expect him to challenge immediately for a starting place this fall".
