Men's Soccer Falls in Region Championship

On Saturday, the men's soccer team traveled to Monroe CC to take on the Tribunes in the Region III, Division I Men's Soccer Championships. The two sides met in September and saw MCC coming out on top 6-1. This time would see the same exact goal differential as the Saints fell 5-0.

The Tribunes got on the board early, as they scored 2 goals in the first five minutes of the game. At that point, the Saints found their rhythm, settled into the game and held it scoreless for the next 40 minutes, but still down 2-0 going into halftime.

The second half saw a similar side, as MCC would score in the opening minute to take the game to 3-0. Then the Tribunes would find the back of the net on two more occasions in the last 15 minutes of play to take the final score to 5-0 in favor of MCC.

The Saints ended the season as Region Runners-Up and had a final record of 6-6-3. A season wrap up will come later this week.
