After a bit of a delay, the Men's all region selections have finally been made with six different Saint's players being honor for Region III. The six players selected each showed individual skill and ability along with dedicated teamwork to garner an all-region selection. The list below along with season stats and achievements is listed in no particular order.
#00, Goalkeeper- Jason Marczak (freshman) – Despite the overall season record, Jason was the star of many games for the Saints due to incredible amount of saves he tallied. He ended the season at the top of the NJCAA division 1 saves list for the entire nation with 167. Jason was also a Captain of the team.
#2, ACM- Jaheed Loblack (sophomore)- For the second year in a row, Loblack was named to the all-region team for Region 3. He ended the season tied for most goals with 9. Along with 4 assist on the season, he ended up with 20 points total. Loblack not only scored the game winner against Niagara CCC, but scored all 3 to record the hat trick to lead the Saints to a 3-2 victory.
#6, DCM- Thomas Sedgwick (sophomore)- Along with being a team captain for the Saint's, Sedgwick only missed one start on the season due to injury and played almost every minute for the team at Holding midfield. His only goal of the season was also the game winner at home against Lorain Community College.
#23, CB- Trung Kitchener (freshman)- Trung was a solid Center back for the saints all season helping to organize and energize the back line. Having gotten a late start into the season, he made the transition into starting Center back and commander of the defense immediately.
#10, DCM- Alex Simos (freshman)- Simos ended the season with 8 points on 3 goals and 2 assists but made much more of an impact in the midfield than what his stats may suggest. His tenacity in the midfield not only helped to secure a win against Niagara CCC with his 2 assists, but it also got him a spot on the Lakeland CC invitational all-tournament team in the Saints very first competition of the season.
#13, RWB- Anthony Martone (sophomore)- With 2 goals and 1 assist on the season as an outside back, Martone was a key offensive threat on the outside for the Saints this season. Asked to play a number of different roles, and positions throughout the season, Martone showed that he could take on the challenge and still perform and be dangerous no matter the opponent.
