The Men's Soccer team recorded their 3rd win of the season in emphatic fashion this past weekend with an 11-1 victory over visiting Westmoreland Community College. Many players for the Saints would get on the board with assists and/or goals for the first time this season. Freshman striker, Andrew Yuill, and freshman striker, turned defender, Evan Purnell, would both score hat tricks within the game. Freshman midfielder, Matthew Jackson, would end the match with two goals and an assist while freshman defender, Josh Jud would add a goal of his own along with 3 assists.
Not to be out done, Sophomore defender, Andrew heft, would not only score two goals of his own and assist two others, but would also find himself playing goalkeeper the entire second half, in which he would record 6 saves. Sophomore Goalkeeper, Jason Marczak, would record the first half shut out and then join the team up top getting two assists of his own.
The Saints have a nice long break in preparation for their next match against Monroe Community College at home on September 30th.
