Men's Soccer Brings In Top Talent From Erie High School

Erie HS incoming soccer players

As the summer approaches, the Mercyhurst North East Saints' Men's soccer team have begun to add a lot of talent to their roster for the upcoming Fall 2018 season. With a strong sophomore class returning for the upcoming Fall, Coach Poe and his staff have been proactive in their search to fill in holes and add depth to their squad.

The most recent signings all hail from Erie high school and are set to make a big impact upon arrival at North East. Goalkeeper, Jakup Husejnovic, Midfielder, Gavin Angelotti, Midfielder, Maen Radhi, and Midfielder, Surwavuba Simoni, will all be members of the Saint's Men's soccer team come fall of 2018.

"All four of these players will bring a lot of energy and soccer intelligence to the program. Playing together throughout high school and at various club levels will definitely help them make the transition to the collegiate level and I expect all four of these guys to make an immediate impact this coming Fall," Coach Poe said of the signings. "I'm really looking forward to working with them!"
