Saints Fall to Lake-Sumter State College

In the night cap on opening day, the Saints fell to Lake Sumter State College by a score of 9-4. Lake Sumter got off to a fast start, scoring 2 runs in the 1st inning, and it wasn't until the 3rd inning the Saints were able to get their first run across. 

Despite the loss, Asja Johnson went 2 for 2 from the plate, which included a triple and an RBI. Sierra Reid also had a productive day from the plate, smacking a double and a triple, while scoring once. Jodi Frontino added two doubles for the Saints.

The Saints are back in action on Saturday (3/2/19) at 11:30am, as they face off against William Penn College and Delta College at 1:30pm.
