The Saints Softball team continued their hot start in Florida by winning a pair of games that kept fans on the edge of their seats. In the first game, the Saints squared off against Muskegon Community College and found themselves up 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Saints then got into a jam as they loaded the bases with only one out.
In came Tori Harding, who started the game, and finished in relief of Seirra Reid. Harding closed out the frame, stranding three. In a tight game, the Saints offense came alive in the 7th inning, which was triggered when Asja Johnson smashed a long home run, which is her first of the season. The Saints rolled to victory from there beating Muskegon 8-3.
To go along with her home run, Johnson finished 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's. Macy Pusateri and Jillian Berguson also had solid performances at the plate, contributing two hits a piece.
