Saints Held Scoreless

The Saints Softball team concluded their spring trip on Sunday (3/10) by squaring off against Mott C.C and Heartland C.C. The Saints, who have had quite the start to the season, entered the day 13-2 overall, but failed to improve their record as they dropped two close ones, which brings their record to 13-4 heading home to North East.

In their game against Mott C.C, the Saints couldn't seem to get anything going offensively, as they were held scoreless through 7 innings. Despite playing good defense, Mott was able to put 3 runs across in the 3rd, which is all they needed. The Saints ended up losing the game 3-0.

Only three Saints contributed hits offensively. Cheyenne Hindman, Riplee Burkhart, and Asja Johnson each had a hit in the loss, Hindman's being for extra bases.
