Big 2nd Quarter Leads Tri-C Past the Saints

The women's basketball team fell to Tri-C 75-53 on Saturday afternoon. The Saints got out to a strong start and held the lead through the first 5 minutes of play. Halfway through the 1st quater  the Challengers took the lead and never looked back as they led 13-9 after the first and 28-15 at halftime. The 13 point deficit in the 2nd quarter was enough to lock the game in for the Challengers, who finished out the game on top 75-53.

Highlights for the Saints included: Kym Braine with 15 poins and 16 rebounds, Megan McKinney with 13 points and 3 steals,  Jaida Dixon having 8 points and 4 steals.

With the loss the Saints move to 0-3 on the weekend and are back in action on monday evening when they travel to Butler County Community College
