The women's basketball team started off their 2017-18 campaign with a 78-72 win over Pitt-Titusville. The Saints, at one point, were trailing by 18 points before having a huge 3rd quarter that lifted them to the win.

Highlights from the game included: Shaquoia McCray with a game team high 18 points and 16 rebounds. Alissa Johnson added 16 points, 6 steals and 5 assists of her own. Courtney Cochran saw double digits in points with 10.

The Saints athletics department has just announced Mashea Williams as the newest head coach of the women's basketball team after the late departure of former head coach Amy Senefelder. With the recent hire date after the first game of the season, assistant coach Eric Miccio filled in as acting head coach for the win.

The Saints are back in action this weekend when they travel to Beaver County to take part in the annual CCBC tournament on November 4th and 5th.
