Emily Shaffer, a freshman, was used in the back and at midfield this year. A solid lefty that had a standout game vs. Lorain CC when she netted two goals in the first half.
Morgan York, a sophomore defender, was a two year starter for the Saints. Primarily used a an outside back, she showcased her 1v1 defending and knowledge of the game to grab the attention of other region coaches to earn a spot on All-Region.
Taylor Zachar, a freshman, led the team in points this fall with 4 goals and 8 assists. She was the main playmaker for the Saints midfield this year and her 8 assists is the 11 highest in Saints single season records.
Sammie Weinheimer, a freshman, helped anchor the defense as center back this fall. Her athleticism and leadership were key factors in her All-Region selection. As a defender, she still managed to grab 1 goal and 1 assists on a standout season.
Nichole Ward, a sophomore, was an integral part of th defense. As a freshman she played outside mid but was moved into the back this fall. Her technical skill and composure helped her become a 1st time All-Region player.
Raven Magrino, a freshman, played attacking center mid this fall. She ended her freshman campaign with 4 goals and 3 assists to give her 11 points on the season, enough for 3rd highest on the team.
This marked the first time in Saints soccer history in which six players were selected to the All-Region team.
