Saints Fall in Five

Mercyhurst was seemingly in control Tuesday night but the Thunderwolves stunned MNE with a late comback. The match scores were 25-20, 17-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-11.

After dropping the first game, the Saints won the next two before NCCC forced a game five. In that game, Mercyhurst went ahead 8-5 but NCCC went on a run to close it out. 

Lindsay Hasbrouck had another great game for the Saints, registering 15 kills and 16 digs. Olivia Graff made her season debut with 13 assists and 21 points.

Julie Craven had eight kills and four blocks while Alex Bell and Kellie Hoffman had 17 and 14 digs, respectively.

Niagara improves to 9-2 overall and 1-0 in the WNYAC. Mercyhurst falls to 1-15 and 0-3.
