Saints Shine on Sophomore Night

The Saints hosted Cuyahoga Community College on Wednesday evening for what was their last home regular season game of the year. Before the game started, the sophomore's were recognized for their contribution to the program over the last two seasons. Tia Mastascusa, Rose Thacker and Mackenzie Turner, all two year volleyball ball players playing in their last game at Liguori Fieldhouse.

With the energy in the gym from friends, family and supporters of the Saints and especially the sophomore Saints, the women's volleyball team came out on top beating Cuyahoga 3-2, the scores to the game were: 27-25, 25-14, 17-25, 15-25, 15-9

Highlights for Mercyhurst included Rose Thacker with 6 blocks, Tia Mastascusa 8 kills  with 13 digs, Teah Bines with 5 kills & 19 digs, Alicia Ngiraingas with 6 kills and 20 digs. Mackenzie Turner with 42 assist, Aren Schwab  with 20 digs and 3 blocks.

Mercyhurst record is now 6-17. Next game Saturday at MCC for conference tournament.
