Men's Soccer Adds Another Win

Saints Soccer

The Saints bettered their record to 5-3-1 on Monday evening with a 6-0 win over visiting Niagara County CC. Two goals from sophomore #13, Justin Fuller, and freshman #5, Nar Basnet, helped the Saints record their 3rd win in a row, 4th in the last 5 games. Sophomore Captain #1/14, Hector Corrales, added a 5th goal with a direct free kick just outside the box, and #10 freshman Daniel Benine, tallied a goal off of a great delivery from freshman #23 Hso Htoo. A goal and assist from Benine saw his point total bump up to 21 points on the season, just two ahead of Justin Fuller's 19.

Since losing to Lakeland CC on September 7th, the Saints have gone without a loss in their last five games. The Saints have put together one of their better seasons thus far, under the coaching of Dan Poe and Bobby Hultgren, giving up only 10 goals in 9 games and scoring a total of 37.

The Saints will be back in action this Sunday as they host their Region 3 counterparts, Monroe CC. Kick off is at 2 pm.
