TITUSVILLE, PA- The Saints volleyball team looked to bounce back on the winning track as they did beating Pitt Titusville (25-12, 25-9, 25-6). The Saints were all smiles as everyone on the roster contributed with the win. In set one Elizabeth Kubicar roped off 9 points with 2 aces to set the tone for the evening. Also in set one helping behind the serving line was Rachel Brenner with 5 points and 3 aces. Heading to set two the Saints gained more aces as Riley Sams had 2 with 4 points in the set. "Hitting spots is always a must when you are serving, you have to have a plan before the whistle" Coach Pacholke explained as the Saints had team a season high with 15 aces.
In the final set the Saints never looked back as they won the final set 25-6. Heading the offense threat at the net was sophomores Rachel Brenner and Erin Froehlich with 7 kills each. Setting up the tempo was Torilynne Nelson with 9 assist. Defensively Haleima Yates helped with 3 blocks and Riley Sams with 10 digs.
The Saints are now 4-6 and are back on the road Monday September 16th as they travel to Butler County Community College.
